THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING PEPTOC!
What started as a one-day project at a public elementary school became a worldwide movement for joy, including the viral Peptoc hotline and our book, You Are Amazing like a Rocket, full of uplifting messages made by young people in 25 countries. The Peptoc hotline has become a celebrated tool for mental health, and has been adopted by hospital and school programs. It has even saved lives.
Donations will go to pay for the hotline fees so we can keep it free to everyone, for many years to come. Since 2022, we have received over 17 million calls. We still receive an average of 10,000 calls a day, with surges of over a million calls, which can cost over $10,000 in one day--that's a lot for two teaching artists!
Any additional funds will help us expand Peptoc so that we can collaborate with even more young people and their communities and continue to offer our projects for free. Current projects in the works include a cross-country billboard project featuring work by local students, Peptoc hotline phone booths, community parades, publications, murals and installations, workshops, and more! Please follow us on Instagram and join our newsletter to keep up to date with our projects.
All donations are fully tax-deductible, thanks to our fiscal sponsor, Launchpad Foundation. This allows us to offer our donors a tax deduction while we work to form our own nonprofit.
If you or your company would like to become a sponsor, please contact us at info@peptoc.net
We would like to give a special acknowledgement to the students, families, and staff of West Side Elementary. We launched our project at this tiny rural elementary school in California, and the voices you hear on the hotline are from their amazing students. For over two years, the school's nonprofit helped us collect donations to cover the hotline fees. We are proud to say that thanks to Peptoc's world fame, we also raised over $150,000 for the school, which are always desperately needed for the school enrichment programs. If you would like to help them with a donation, go to www.westsideusd.org
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for supporting our project and for lifting up these young people's voices!
